At our school, we have four important values that guide everything we do: build relationships, nurture and care, grow together, enjoy and achieve. We believe in creating a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Building positive relationships with our peers and teachers is key to our success. We also understand the importance of nurturing and caring for each other, supporting one another through difficulties and celebrating our achievements. Together, we grow and learn, embracing challenges and working as a team. We believe that by enjoying our learning journey, we can achieve great things and reach our full potential.

Endeavour Multi Academy Trust is excited to launch our new Provider-Led, School-Based Initial Teacher Training in partnership with the University of Derby. We are offering PGCE with QTS qualifications in Primary (3-7 and 5-11) and Secondary (Maths, English, Biology, Art and History). All qualifications will be rooted in our Trust’s values of inclusion, equity and ambition.

Our Trust is comprised of seven schools, including four special schools and three primary schools. Our schools are located across the Midlands region including Tamworth, Wolverhampton and Burton-upon-Trent. The Trust is dedicated to providing inclusive, high-quality education across all its settings, ensuring that every child receives the support and opportunities they need to thrive. We will empower trainees to reach their full potential as confident, skilled professionals, preparing the next generation of inclusive practitioners who create classrooms where every child thrives. We prioritise developing outstanding strategies for SEND, ensuring trainees have the knowledge, skills, and empathy to meet diverse needs. These strategies are essential for success in all settings, enabling teachers to deliver high-quality, inclusive and equitable education for all learners.

Beginning Teachers will spend a minimum of 24 weeks on school placements. As this is a school based course, Beginning Teachers spend the majority of time on placement gaining real classroom experience and working with highly skilled professionals. Placement 1 and 3 will be in the same school and Placement 2 will offer a contrasting experience.

Our beginning teachers will study (on Wednesdays) either at The University of Derby or in our school hubs. This time will be spent learning about pedagogy, evidence-based research and will offer an opportunity to reflect on practice.
